Aracatuba --> SaoPaulo ---> Home...Yeah!!!

This past weekend was wonderful! It was one of the most impacting ministry weekends I have ever experienced. Both Rod and I were significantly impacted by the life, passion, vibrancy, influence, worship and serving the poor of the city the church in Aracatube demonstrated. I spoke on Friday evening to 350 small group leaders, and then ministered prophetically over 15-20 of them following the message. On Saturday Rod shared for a few hours along the lines of inner healing and how Jesus wants us whole. People were really minsistered to by the Holy Spirit as Rod lead the 400+ people to trust Jesus for complete wholeness. On Saturday evening I addressed the Young Adult community, but as it turned out, many more people came, so there were hundreds of people there. I spoke on "Walking In The Will Of God" and following the message several hundred responded and came forth to offer their lives a living sacrifice to Jesus and submit completely to his Lordship.
The churches in Brazil do not have services on Sunday morning, their regular Sunday services are typically on Sunday early evening. Last night I spoke to approximately 2500 people and there was sooooooo much grace to speak. When I finished I asked people who had never felt the love I was speaking about to come forward and surrendor their lives to that love. We do not know many received Jesus, but the front was full and then up the center aisle. Following the prayer, Brother Samuel gave them some instruction, and then they were led off to a room prepared for them with Small Group leaders to help them in their first steps of Christianity. It was so wonderful.
Anyway, we have to run...we are about to go to a Favela, one of the shanty towns surrounding this massive city, the poorest of the poor. If it were not for one of the pastors who has been accepted by the drug lords who rule the Favela's, it would not be safe for us to go there. He is going to take us in and show us how the world's poorest of the poor live.
Again, THANK YOU FOR YOUR PRAYER! I have never felt so energized to speak so many times without feeling depleted.
Below are a two pics of Rod and I, Rod ministering inner healing, and me to the leaders on Friday evening.
Deus te Abencoe,
Don & Rod.
