Pictured here is a photograph of an actual “ancient landmark,” or boundary stone, whose purpose is to define the boundaries of a person’s property or inheritance. Stones like these have been used since the days of Joshua (approximately 3400 years ago) to mark out land that was distributed by inheritance to families and the land was not to be sold or reallocated, hence the scriptural admonition, “do not remove the ancient landmark that your Father’s have set” (Prov 22:28).

As we inaugurate a New Year, a New Decade, and a “Brand New Day,” the Holy Spirit is deeply emphasizing that we are to revisit the ‘ancient landmarks’/ boundary stones, that were granted to NTC by inheritance so that we can truly bring His influence to this region, and regions beyond. The many prophetic words trumpeted over NTC and this region for the past 28+ years are consistent with the initial boundary markers the Lord established for NTC at its inception. These boundary markers, as recently expounded upon by Paul Johannson, are to mark not only our boundaries, but help define what we are to contend for as we go forward in this New Year, this New Decade this Brand New Day. The markers as shared by Paul Johannson are;

1. Hunger for Presence & Refreshing From the Holy Spirit
2. Strong Word and Worship Base
3. Burden To Train The Next Generation
4. Major Sense of Family & Community
5. Reaching the Lost both Local and Foreign

As we journey forward in this New Year, you will be hearing about these ‘boundary stones’ and how each of us are to contend personally and corporately for EVERYTHING the LORD has decreed for our lives, our families, our church, our region and regions beyond.

In His AGAPE,
-Don & Mary-
